This movie features a series of vignettes by famous actors in cameo roles that invoke the writing style and talent of Jim Jarmusch in their dialogue. He wrote and directed this movie. All the scenes feature people sitting down at tables in coffee houses and discussing life’s biggest issues. The film is shot in black and white. Perhaps this is appropriate for a drink that is either black or black with cream.

2. Baghdad Cafe (1987)
Baghdad Cafe shows how the lives of several interrelated people can be affected by one person. A coffee house is the main setting in this movie. The coffee house is a great place for people to meet and sets the scene for exciting interactions to occur, and throughout history the coffee house has been used as a place of meetings and gatherings.

3. The Station Agent (2003)
The Station Agent tells the story of a dwarf, but there is a coffee van attendant that is part of the movie. This coffee van really makes it more interesting because it’s something the whole audience can relate to. Oftentimes, coffee just smoothes the whole movie over and makes it appear more palatable, pun intended, because audiences feel more comfortable with something they know.

4. Adventureland (2009)
Adventureland is a drama/comedy about two young lovers that meet at an amusement park and fall madly in love. One of the most iconic scenes take place in a coffee shop. It’s amazing how much coffee shops are used as the background for romantic scenes.

5. Coffee Shop Hell (2005)
In this movie, a man meets a girl in a gourmet coffee shop, and they talk about their mobile phones. So many movies feature romantic encounters that take place in coffee shops. Coffee shops are a good place for romance.
